I call this piece, The Second Act of Fall
The leaf is not as healthy as it was. But as it slowly dies, it takes on a new form of beauty. The changing of the leaves brings joy for people to admire this beauty as it is most vibrant. But in the second act, it’s a little less vibrant, it’s a little drier, and the leaves on the tree grow a bit scarce. The bare bone branches come through and you can see what has been supporting the leaves all this time. This piece is meant to highlight the support becoming the main character and shedding its former beauty. End of scene.
